somebody said that the future is now
and if that is true, then we must now confess
that you are the possible
the sun peeking through after the rain
all those dreams we dreamt as children
each one of you taking a delicious risk
to be right here right now
with the same faith and spirit
as the millions that came before you
stepping out with the courage of a new generation
somebody said that the future started yesterday
and we’re already late
and if that is true, then we must surely confess
that you are the possible
and we must dedicate this praise song to all of you
lifting each of you up on the wings of whatever you dream
for yourselves, and for us
