If you’re reading this blog right now, thank you.
Thank you so much for all you’ve done for me over the past year. You’ve read my opinions, commented on them, and shared them with your friends. Over 500 of you have subscribed to get my posts every day, and that’s what makes me hop up out of bed to write something almost every morning. Thank you for listening to what I have to say.
I especially appreciate each one of you who have shared your experiences with me in the comments or by email. Thank you for letting me learn from you.
Thank you to all of you who have lovingly disagreed with me. I learn so much from you. I learn where I may be missing some perspective in my thinking about issues related to social change, and most recently, about racism and generational leadership issues. I also learn how to have better dialogue with those who do not share my views – we all have something to learn from each other, even if we’re not singing in the same choir.
A few people recently have challenged my thinking on a number of issues, and I want to thank them by name.
Thank you for being resources and inspiration to me in my leadership journey. When you share your knowledge and experiences, it helps to inform mine.
I’m also grateful to be a part of a community of other Generation Y bloggers: the Nonprofit Millennial Bloggers Alliance. Thank you Allison Jones for bringing us together. And thank you guys for being such a wonderful group.
Thank you to all of the amazing bloggers on my blogroll. Your thought leadership is an inspiration to me. I learn something from you every day.
If you follow me on Twitter, thank you. You have been an amazing community of smart people who share great information with me and let me bounce ideas off you. Let’s continue our authentic conversation.
I appreciate all of the amazing people that have graciously volunteered their time as guests on my weekly radio show, Perspectives from the Pipeline on BlogTalkRadio. Thank you for freely sharing your insights with the nonprofit community. And thank you to all who have been listening to the show each week – 200-300 people have downloaded each episode! I want to hear from you about what topics you want to discuss in 2010. There’s so much more to come!
Thank you to all of my clients that have hired me in the past year. Your support means a lot to me. My consulting work is what allows me to work part-time and devote more of my time to blogging. I appreciate you allowing me to help you reach your goals and share your stories with the nonprofit community.
Thank you all for your support. I hope my blog continues to be useful to you. Please let me know if there’s ever anything I can do to promote your work. I would love to help.
I hope you all have a relaxing holiday with the ones you love! As I type, I’m en route to New York to spend Thanksgiving with my boyfriend Jim (the rocket scientist, for those of you on Twitter) and his family. I’m thankful for him, too
He keeps me grounded and is one of the most supportive people in my life.

And thank you, Rosetta, for being an amazing resource for young non-profit professionals in DC specifically and I’m sure, around the country and maybe even world. I have learned alot and been exposed to so much information thanks to you blogs & Twitter and I’m glad you do this & love doing it! Keep it up.

You’re welcome, Rosetta. And thanks to you for a thoughtful and interesting blog. I have found lots of ideas here to challenge my own thinking and, sometimes, the biases I’d like to think I don’t have, but do. Best to you for the coming year.
