		<description>@Nelson - I read your comments on Neel&#039;s blog and you make some great points! i think that the reason why many people equate personal growth to upward mobility in terms of position title is because it&#039;s easy to quantify. Either you got the promotion or the raise or your didn&#039;t. We have to make up our own metrics for personal leadership development. 

@Barbara - Interesting to hear how you define social change. If it is &quot;helping people&quot; then it becomes easier to imagine the myriad of ways we can do that.
