Trish Tchume

Trish Tchume is the Director of Civic Engagement for the Building Movement Project in New York. Trish was named a 2009 American Express NGen Fellow by Independent Sector. She serves on the national board of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network and was also a founding board member for Philadelphia’s Young Nonprofit Leaders.

From the Building Movement Project website:

Trish Tchume supports the Project’s ongoing work of integrating social change values and practices into nonprofit service organizations. Prior to joining the Building Movement Project in April of 2008, Trish served first as a Campus Organizer and then as a Community Outreach Manager for Action Without Borders/Idealist.org. Additionally, she serves as a member for the national board of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network. Through each of these roles, Trish has had the privilege of helping to strengthen the social justice work of inspiring individuals and nonprofit organizations by connecting them with resources and networking opportunities.
