It’s time for our monthly Twitter chat! The Young Nonprofit Professionals Twitter chat is the brainchild of me and Allison Jones and every month we tackle a different topic to discuss with our peers on Twitter. This month, we’re partnering with the Washington, DC chapter of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPNdc) to discuss board service: why it’s beneficial and how young people can seek out board positions in the sector. YNPNdc is currently recruiting for new board members (application deadline June 13), so if you’re in the DC area, here’s a chance to move from chat to action!
